OUR FAMILY

Mike & Kimberly Klokus

Kimberly and Michael Klokus have been married for 28 years. Both having lost a parent as children and a child as parents, they gained a unique insight into grief. Their shared experiences fueled a commitment to dedicating their lives to providing hope and a second chance at childhood for children whose futures would otherwise be uncertain.

Over the past two decades, the Klokuses have opened their hearts and home to children facing the most devastating circumstances. They've witnessed firsthand how God's love and support can transform a child, once considered a hopeless statistic, into a thriving and vibrant young individual. Despite unimaginable trauma, their household stands as a testament to the healing power of love in action. Along the way, they've endeavored to extend the same grace they received from others, realizing that love indeed covers a multitude of sin.

Mike and Kim have cared for more than 25 kids in the past two decades. Currently, they have 10 children, a mix of international adoptions, state adoptions, and biological children. Their enduring desire is to continue offering hope to any child in need and to educate, guide, and equip others to contribute to ending the orphan crisis.

The Klokuses' journey is characterized by love, determination, and an unyielding belief that every child deserves a bright future, regardless of their past. Their story serves as an inspiration, showcasing the transformative impact of compassion and commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
